Doctors to expand digital healthcare services to the US market

Japanese Digital Healthcare Innovation Company Doctors has announced plans to enter the US market in the first half of this year.

The expansion is part of the company’s global strategy to offer a broader range of services, including the development and provision of digital health platforms.

The US healthcare system is primarily based on private insurance and presents a unique landscape for physicians, operating under Japan’s universal health insurance model.

Despite these differences, physicians said it has identified opportunities to enhance and improve care and services for patients in the U.S. by acquiring local medical institutions and partnering with local companies.

The company’s business model is designed to enable enterprises to enter the healthcare industry by providing a digital healthcare platform on an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) basis.

This allows them to create customized virtual health services and establish healthcare connections with customers.

Doctors also operates medical institutions and provides access to personal care in the network of ‘digitally transformed’ medical facilities.

The approach is expected to benefit U.S. patients by offering health maintenance, health status assessment, medical navigation and reduced healthcare burden.

Doctors uses a network of more than 700 expert physicians to provide a variety of services.

These include physician hub for support in commercializing digital healthcare services, as well as physician hubs for delivering digital healthcare services and medical DX to institutions.

Another of the company’s services is Doctors Station, which combines a medical cloud platform with connectivity to a network of medical institutions.

Replicating its successful Japanese model, doctors plan to adopt its digital health platform in the US, which currently has more than 47,000 medical institution accounts and 180,000 healthcare providers.

The Digital Health Platform is designed to enable companies, municipal governments and other entities to participate and develop their healthcare.
