Super Bowl Lix will be the third consecutive performance of the Chiefs in the champion competition-after they have won the last two and are looking for the always elusive ‘three-turf’-while the Eagles want to win their second title in the history of franchis. After two weeks of partying and resting, the teams face each other for the second time in the history of the Super Bowl on 9 February in the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Eagles Super Bowl performances
The Eagles played four times in the Super Bowl, the first of which in 1981, when they lost from the then Oakland Raiders.
Philadelphia won their first and only super bowl in 2018 from the New England Patriots in a rematch of the Super Bowl of 2005.
The last Super Bowl performance by the team was in 2023. The Eagles stood versus the Kansas City Chiefs and lost with only three points difference.
The birds are now going to The Big Easy looking for revenge on the chiefs beating the Washington commanders 55-23, Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field in the NFC championship match.
